Join Robotics at Central

Central Robotics is a hands-on opportunity for students who enjoy building, coding, designing, problem-solving, and working with a team. Students learn to build and program robots, develop engineering and technology skills, compete with other schools, and represent Central with pride.

Central Robotics has a strong tradition of success. Several Central teams regularly advance to regional competitions, and Central has also earned the opportunity to compete at the World Championship a few times.

Robotics helps students explore future careers in engineering, computer science, robotics, manufacturing, electronics, design, aviation, and other STEM-related fields. Students also build valuable skills in teamwork, communication, leadership, and creative problem-solving.

No experience is required. Whether you are interested in building, programming, driving, design, strategy, or simply trying something new, there is a place for you on the team.

How to Join

Interested students should stop by Room 116 and speak with Coach Hardeman. Coach Hardeman will answer questions, explain the program, and provide the next steps.

Parent/guardian consent and required paperwork must be completed before students can participate.
